One can still play this song with the standard tuning but the harmonics in the solo sound sweeter (and are easier to play) with the alternate tuning. Obviously, one can get the same effect with a capo on the 2nd fret. This transcription assumes the alternate tuning. Most of the song is just "power" chords.
